Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-23-20  MordimerChess: Two match between two Peters was quite sharp. Three games were decisive and only one draw.

I this game, basically Russian GM gives... Greek Gift to... Hungarian GM.

My full analysis of this game:

Jul-23-20  Ulhumbrus: Svidler appears to have scored both of his wins against Leko by making a combination against the opposing king
Jul-23-20  SChesshevsky: Interesting opening by Svidler. Seemed able to get something like a reversed accelerated dragon. One that Petrosian liked to play as black.

Keres vs Petrosian, 1959

Larsen vs Petrosian, 1966

Don't think I ever saw it played as white though. Liked to play it with Black but never overly convinced about how good it was. You'd think white might be able to get something with the tempo but seems like CG computer says nothing there.

Honza Cervenka: 21...Rfe8 looks like a right move with a wrong Rook. Moving the Rook from f8 leaves f7 without protection allowing thus combination of white. White could have played also 25.Qh3 with idea 25...Bxe5 26.Rxf7! Kxf7 27.Qh7+ +-
