MissScarlett: This game features in Donaldson's <Bobby Fischer and His World> , p.53, having earlier appeared in <Bobby Fischer: The Early Years: 1943-1963> (Donaldson/Tangborn; Kindle ed. 2017), based on a Fischer scoresheet, one of fifteen that turned up at auction in 2016.

This scoresheet and another (against Smith), on Manhattan CC stationery, are dated February 16th 1956, give no hint as to their circumstances. In 2017, the authors thought the games might have been played in either of two events - the Log Cabin 50/50 tournament or, more likely, the Manhattan CC A Reserves.

Donaldson now believes they're more probably casual games - a theory doubted in 2017.

MissScarlett: I should point out that in both books, Donaldson (sorry, Tangborn, you're dropped) gives <21. Rd4>, but that simply loses the rook after <21...Qe5 22. Bf4> which I don't believe both players would miss. <The Early Years> has a reproduction of the scoresheet, and Fischer's descriptive notation is, in places, faint and difficult to decipher. It's as likely to be <R-QR4> as it is <R-Q4>, so I've gone with that.
