Jun-19-22  jerseybob: A real clunker by Stein, who may have been reeling from his loss to Najdorf in the previous round. Black makes several dangerous-looking moves(Nb4,f5/f4,Be5 etc.) but they don't add up to an integrated whole and the little-known Cruz keeps his cool and beats back the "attack".

nizmo11: Stein could have drawn with 30...Qxf2+ 31.Kh2 Nxc1 when White needs to take the perpetual. But maybe he was still playing for a win and missed the strength of 33.Bxg4.
