Nov-18-21  ndg2: One of the three losses Jorden faced in the Grand Swiss 2021. White was actually (much) better until move 28.

If Jorden had played 28. ♖f2 c5 29. hxg6 hxg6 30. ♗xg6 ♖d1 31. ♔h3 ♗e7 32. ♗h7+ ♔g7 33. ♗e4 ♗xe4 34. ♘xe4 ♖h1+ 35. ♔g2 ♕d1 36. ♕xd1 ♖xd1 37. axb5, he would have traded down to an advantageous end game

White will capture blacks's two c-pawns as well and even if black remains with the a7 pawn white should win with his king side pawn majority.

But Jorden played 28. ♘f3 and black's exchange sac with 28..d4 29. ♘xd4 cxd4 turned the tables. The amazing bishop sac 34..♗a3 left white helpless against black's pawn storm.
