perfidious: An ancestor of Jenny Finch?
Aug-03-21  Nosnibor: Is this the same J Finch who lost to McDonnel at the odds of a Rook and beat Anderssen some 21 years later on even terms? Was there not a James Finch playing around 1830? If it is the same player then he is a rare bird of passage and some 27 years older than Anderssen at the time.
