Apr-04-10  wordfunph: his bio was his name.. :-0

Van Den Bosch still kicking at 104 years on earth?

happy birthday Maestro Johannes..

Apr-04-10  M.D. Wilson: Still kicking on?
Apr-04-10  Eastfrisian: According to English Wikipedia he died in 1994.
Apr-12-16  TheFocus: That's a lot of names.
Feb-05-17  Retireborn: In one of his files van Reek gives him the first names Jonkheer Johannes and refers to him as the future director of the Duch Bank.

A proto-Ken Rogoff, perhaps.

Feb-05-17  sneaky pete: <Retireborn> Jonkheer is not a name, it's the title of a (young) nobleman (there doesn't seem to be an English equivalent). After his father died, he inherited the title graaf (count).
Feb-05-17  Retireborn: <sneaky pete> Many thanks for that, I just assumed it was an uniquely Dutch first name. Learn something new every day!
