RECENT GAMES:
In June of 2007, his rating climb started off by winning a Concordia club tournament, where his father, a Canadian Correspondence Chess Association Candidate Master, Stephen Humphreys, has played at in Kitchener. In 2008, he won the Concordia club (match-play vs Gordon Olheiser scored 2-1) & Kitchener-Waterloo championships as well as the Kitchener Master's tournament. He tied 1st-2nd with Daniel Raats in a Kitchener tournament in February, 2008. In 2009, after winning the March London tournament outright, he tied 1st-2nd in another London open tournament of Ontario in July, tied 1st-3rd with Cedomir Micic & Artiom Samsonkin in the Niagara Falls open & scored a perfect 5/5 in an April-May Kitchener tournament at city hall. He won a FIDE master title and the Annex club championship in Toronto in 2012. He finished with 5.5/9 at the 2016 Canadian open(4) in Windsor.
