  cro777: Maria Manelidou is a Women FIDE Master born in Georgia, raised in Greece and currently based in London. Her peak rating was 2110.

In recent years she has focused more on teaching chess than on pursuing her tournament career. She found Chess Rising Stars London Academy.

  cro777: In 2014 Maria moved to London, and now resides there teaching chess to children, including with the charity Chess in Schools and Communities.

She plays in the London and national leagues for two teams – Drunken Knights and Wood Green MM.
