Tabanus: Harding says R. Rabson was from Woolwich in 1873. There is a Richard Rabson in Woolwich, Kent in 1890 and 1892 (electorial registers). The 1891 census lists only one Rabson: Richard Roe Rabson b. abt 1862, living in Eastbourne, Sussex. It does not have to be him, and anyway RRR apparently was born in 1867 and still lived in 1900. The records may have him as Robson, so this could get difficult. Any other info?

<Richard Roe Rabson, The Retreat, Pevensey Road, and of 40A Pevensey Road, both in Eastbourne, Sussex, boarding-shouse keeper.> Probably not him...

  MissScarlett: The <Kentish Independent> of May 29th 1880, p.4, from a report on a meeting of the <Woolwich Board of Guardians>:

<A letter was received from Mr. Gates, manager of the Woolwich branch of the London and County Bank, stating that he was about to retire into private life, and consequently felt compelled to tender his resignation as treasurer for this Board. It was a matter of great pain to him to be severed from all old friends and associations. He recommended to the favourable notice of the Board Mr. Richard Rabson as a fit and proper person to fill the post. He concluded by thanking the Board for many acts of kindness to him, and begged to say that he left them with much regret.

A letter was read from Mr. Richard Rabson, stating that, having been appointed manager of the London and County Bank, he begged to apply for the appointment of treasurer, vacated by his predecessor, Mr. Gates.>

Tabanus: <Harding says R. Rabson was from Woolwich in 1873.> He says 1883.

Richard Rabson (1833-1899) is based on this assumption, i. e. that he was living in Woolwich. Btw the 1891 census has Rabson, digitally Robson.
