GrahamClayton: Schroeder was a member of the Brooklyn Chess Club. His best tournament performance was finishing 3rd behind Chajes and Kupchik in the 1918 New York State Chess Association Masters Tournament.
Feb-20-21  jerseybob: And also the father, I believe, of Alfred C. Schroeder, of RCA fame, one of the pioneers of color TV.
