Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-08-13  epistle: Look at his games. No one moves his pieces the way this guy does!
Jul-08-13  DoctorD: He should take up composing, because "The Antoine Manoeuvre" would be a great name for a problem theme.
Jul-08-13  offramp: It would have to be called the Antoine Manoeuvre Manoeuvre.
Jul-08-13  DoctorD: Hey, offramp. Long time no see. Hope all is still well, and good pun.
Jul-08-13  TheFocus: With a name like that, he is probably a positional player.
Jul-08-13  TheFocus: His girlfriend calls him Long Ranger.

Whatever could that mean?

Jul-08-13  TheFocus: She used to date a guy she called Short Stroker.

It is said that she is happier now.

Jul-08-13  haydn20: I believe the etymology of "manoeuvre" is from manus (hand) and oeuvre (work). Of course, a synonym for one sense of "work" is "job", and this may explain some of his difficulties with women.
