GrahamClayton: Carreza also played games against Capablanca when the Cuban visited Buenos Aires in 1911. I will see if I can download the game scores from Brandreth's book "The Unknown Capablanca".
May-06-11  Calli: <GrahamClayton> At least one is here in disguise see L Molina Carranza vs Capablanca, 1911 Correction should be ready in a decade or two.
May-06-11  Caissanist: There is also Capablanca vs L Molina, 1911. This player's full name appears to have been Leopoldo Molina Carranza, which would normally be given as Leopoldo Molina. Many players from Spanish speaking countries have multiple or incorrect names in the database, since there is no standard way of handling the double last names that are common there.
May-06-11  Calli: <Caissanist> There were three JRC opponents named Carranza. They were Emilio, Leopoldo and Lizardo Molina. I believe game scores exist for all three vs JRC including a consulting game with Leopoldo and Lizardo. The game referenced in my previous post is definitely Leopoldo. Your reference seems to be Lizardo Molina.
May-07-11  Calli: Lizardo Molina Carranza can be seen in a photograph in Chess Note 3428. He was president of Club Argentino de Ajedrez at the time of the Alekhine-Capablanca match. Note that Capa's letter adresses him as Dr. Lizardo Molina Carranza.

Jun-15-15  Petalsian: There is a standart for the order of the surnames in spanish. The first surname generally belongs to the father's surname, and the second to the mother. In the case a man and a won woman with two surnames get married, the children inherits the two firts surnames, and the one from the father is placed first and the mother's surname is the latter. In any case this tradition is old and discontinued in Argentina(my country), only some wealthy families keep this tradition.
