Life master Deepak Aaron was the 2009 North American Youth Champion (Under 16 Boys). In 2010 and 2011, he tied for 1st place in the New York State High School championship. In 2012, he won the 45th New York State Scholastic championship, scoring 6-0. He is the only three-time New York scholastic champion. His grandfather is International Master Manuel Aaron. He is currently studying chemical engineering at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
