  Tabanus: Who is this?

Le Véritable Messager Boiteux du Pays de Neuchatel 1962 has a "M. Benoît Colin, par ailleurs champion suisse d'échecs", i. e. a monsieur Benoit Colin who was also Swiss chess champion, but he is not in Wikipedia's list of Swiss champions.

Aug-30-13  thomastonk: From Forster's book "Schach-Gesellschaft Zürich 1809 - 2009", page 189: "Colin, Benoît (1906-1993)."

"Kaufmann aus dem neuenburgischen Corcelles. Eines der meistversprechenden Talente der Romandie, war 1932 am internationalen Berner Turnier sensationell mit 3,5 von 4 Punkten gestartet ..."

Colin could have played Zurich 1934, but gave up tournament play because of health reasons.

Tabanus: <thomastonk> Yahoo, thanks! I'll request change to <Benoit> Colin after the other Bern 1932 games are in.

Meanwhile: tentatively "Switzerland 1906-1993". Can't find him in Ancestry and Family Search.
