Apr-26-14  john barleycorn: <ughaibu: How come this guy only has whites?>

his opponents did not wash their hands before the game?

Apr-26-14  Pulo y Gata: A White supremacist, obviously. Adores birds.

perfidious: One could have asked that question of the late Claude Frizzel Bloodgood: 63 games at CG, and he played Black in two of them, compiling a winning percentage which was beyond Goldsbyesque.
Apr-29-14  john barleycorn: <Bloodgood: 63 games at CG, and he played Black in two of them, compiling a winning percentage which was beyond Goldsbyesque.>

Good old Claude was once no.2 in the US rating (behind Kamsky if I remember correctly). Our floridean friend is struggling to become no.2 at books a million.

Apr-29-14  TheFocus: Do you mean... (gasp)... he's not the perrenial champion of Books-A-Million?i
Apr-29-14  TheFocus: And just how big is this place? I have 5,000 books and barely have enough room for them.

How much space would a Million books take up?

Apr-29-14  TheFocus: I could just be cynical, but I doubt they have a million books.

I feel that this is false advertising.

Apr-29-14  john barleycorn: 1000000 is binary.
Apr-29-14  diceman: <ughaibu: How come this guy only has whites? and they're all Birds?>

If you play Birds as black,
its the Dutch, or worse.

Apr-29-14  Granny O Doul: Maybe he just forfeits when he gets assigned Black. Good for the rating, though it makes titles norms tough to achieve.

perfidious: It would be a trivial matter, though, to create an event, as Zurab Azmaiparashvili is known to have done.
Apr-29-14  TheFocus: <ughaibu: How come this guy only has whites? and they're all Birds?>

His name does look like it is pronounced Birdseed.
