(born Dec-03-1921, died Feb-04-2003, 81 years old) Czech Republic

Jaroslav Sajtar was awarded the IM title in 1950 and an Honorary GM title in 1985. He best tournament result was 2nd= at Warsaw 1947. He played on the Czech Olympiad teams of 1952 and 1954. After 1956 he devoted himself to FIDE and chess organisation. He was FIDE Vice-President from 1956 to 1978.
