Nightsurfer: Today, on <January 17th, 2013), that very day would have been the <86th birthday> of the unforgettable <Eartha Kitt> - just check out her biography at - , and <Rainer Schnelle>, the German jazzman and chessplayer, has been a member of her band for some very important years way back in the 80's, since those have been the years of <Eartha Kitt> hitting the charts again after a long and painful interlude, namely after having become a <persona non grata> in the USA because <Eartha Kitt> had dared to speak out against the Vietnam War on the occasion of a luncheon in the White House in 1968 ... .

Thank you, dear <Eartha Kitt> up there in Heaven, for having made us dream with your great songs like <"Santa Baby"> - if you want to listen to that eternal tune: - and for having made us dance to your songs like <"Where Is My Man">, herewith the clip: !

And thank you, <Rainer Schnelle>, for having stood by <Eartha Kitt>'s side for quite a while!
