Feb-13-07  alshatranji: What's an Emeritus GM? I didn't know a thing like that existed.
Sep-08-07  bauernfresser: In a few cases FIDE gave a "Honorary GM" title to players whose prime time was before the regular GM title procedures were established - I think that's what's meant by "Emeritus GM".
