takebackok: Congratulations Alice Lee on a fine ACC 2022 tournament with some great wins! Going to be fun watching your future games.
Mar-05-23  SChesshevsky: Alice gets a nicely played win in the 3rd week of the Pro Chess League. The surprise was the opponent. Being Matthias Bluebaum, a very solid 2600+. Well done!
Mar-05-23  Granny O Doul: Meh. At that age, I was already beating people in four moves.
Mar-18-23  SChesshevsky: Alice remains on fire in the Pro Chess League. In week 5, gets a win v. 2700 B-D Deac and gets a piece up draw v. 2600+ Aleksandar Indjic. Her recent results have to be a big confidence boost.
Jul-14-23  Caissanist: Her recent fullfillment of her last IM norm was impressive enough to get Alice an interview with CBS News: https://news.yahoo.com/13-old-alice... .

She's currently seventh on the FIDE girls rating list--quite impressive, since everyone ahead of her is at least two years older, and most are only a few points higher. Perhaps she'll be the one-in-a-hundred prodigy who doesn't fizzle out.

Mar-21-24  EvanTheTerrible: Alice won the Women's section of the American Cup over Irina Krush. She came out of the Elimination bracket, needing to win a match to first even the score, then needing to win a second match to secure the title. She trailed 0-1 and 1-2, but managed to win on demand to force a blitz playoff, which she won 2-0.
