  MissScarlett: (Harrisburg, PA) Evening News, September 4th 1942, p.19:

<MEDIA, Sept.4. - Francis P. Byerly, 52, a senior partner in the accounting firm of Price, Waterhouse & Co., was found dead in his automobile in a garage at his Media home today.

Authorities said he had apparently committed suicide by inhaling carbon monoxide from the exhaust of his car. His body was found by a housekeeper, Miss Catherine Kiernicki, who discovered a note in Byerly's bedroom which stated: "I am in the garage. Call a doctor."
