May-26-15  cro777: Two chess legends passed away on May 21st 2015: the legend of Portuguese chess Joaquim Manuel Durão and the French chess legend César Boutteville.

Durão was 13 times Portuguese champion, represented his country in ten Chess Olympiads, and was president of the Portuguese Chess Federation. He was the first Portuguese chess player to receive the International Master title. He remained active until 2014.
