MSteen: Just watched a video on this young lady on Gotham Chess on YouTube. He is blown away by the sophistication of her play, and he predicts great things from her. If she continues to play and improve as rapidly as she has already, she may push Carlsen off his throne as the most famous and talked about player of her generation.

Sally Simpson: With her time tank almost empty Bodhana missed a mate in two at the recent Reykjavik Open (some smashing games from that event, they should be here soon. https://chess-results.com/tnr792656... )

Sivanandan - Thibault, Reykjavik Open 2024 (Rd.7)

Sally Simpson: Bodhana has been selected to play for the English womens team in the coming Olympiad. At 9 years old This makes her the youngest player ever to present England at any sport.

If these up and coming potential GM's get any younger they will soon be making moves from their prams.

Wrapping up play in the British Championship today, the first of what should be many such events for this young lady. I should not be at all surprised if she makes grandmaster by fifteen.
