  perfidious: Remember Manik from our meeting at a rapid event during the US Open in 1993, while he was a student here.

It was a Dutch and I won a pawn, but did not manage to convert in a rook ending and he held the draw. Manik beat Dzinzdhi with Black in another Dutch in the last round to finish equal second to Elliott Winslow.
