Nov-02-11  waustad: As one might suspect, there are more than one Fred Brown's who have played chess. There is a newer one from Wales, who is now inactive but was born in 1966 who is the one rated 2075. It wouldn't be at all surprising of the 1879 player is different from the one we see here for most of the games.

Fred's full name is <Frederick Brown> (the younger and more talented brother of Frank Brown).
