Sep-24-03  patzer2: Dao Thien H (with no listed rating here) looks awful strong only to have two games in the data base, and with both of those being wins against strong GMs. Does anyone have any information on Dao Thien H?

May-11-05  WorldChampeen: The article I believe states, they split the match of standard games and that Dao won in a blitz match!

chessgames.com: We've received this player's name in several forms:

Dao Thien Hai
H Dao Thien
Hai Dao Thien
Thien Hai Dao

and probably others as well. Does anybody know the proper way?

May-22-07  darkwitch: To Chessgames.com:

I think Dao is the surname and Thien Hai is the name. Like Xie Jun, Xie is the surname and Jun is the name.

chessgames.com: So taking into account the fact that Asian/Indian names are usually presented "backwards" (family name first) then "Dao Thien Hai" would be the most correct/common presentation. Thanks.
