Elena Abramova Fatalibekova (born Rubtsova) was born in 1947 in Moscow. She was awarded the WIM and WGM titles in 1977 and was USSR Women's Champion in 1974. Her mother is former world women's champion Olga Rubtsova. In 2000-1 and 2004, she won the women's title in the World Senior Championship(1). She won the 2007-8 European Women Senior Championships.
