Mar-30-11  Sem: Constant OIrbaan was born in Harderwijk. For years he was a journalist for the national daily NRC and also a referee.
Apr-14-13  wordfunph: "Constant, 72, was a fixture at Dutch chess events. Kindly, gentle, and chivalrous, he was one of the earliest chess professionals. He devoted his life to chess and his passing was a great tragedy."
