End of 2017 he has been photographed chatting with local GM Georg Mohr as guest of honor at the 'Railway Chess Club Maribor' (ŽŠD) 90th anniversary in the Piramida Hotel.

'There is no more pleasant pastime in the world than a game of chess' (in Slovenian)

Other photographs include more 'youngsters' (now and then) of Slovenian chess such as GM Ljubomir Crepinsek and GM Nikola Hocevar or the 'legendary chess coach' (see Albin Planinc (kibitz #149) Damijan Kolar being all part of this emotional reunion.

Besides all that the article collects various interesting anecdotes (not well known outside Slovenia) of ŽŠD's history since 4 July 1927 when the club (originally for football, athletics and chess) was founded at the Senica Inn.
