Alfred Beni born 1923 was an Austrian IM. He was joint Austrian Champion in 1947 and has represented Austria in numerous Olympiads. Awarded the IM-title after his 9.5/15 result on board 1 at the 1950 Dubrovnik Olympiad. He won the Vienna Championship five times. His best international result was 2nd place behind Enrico Paoli at Vienna in 1950.
