  Phony Benoni: Anybody have an idea if Rudy was indeed the Blumenfeld who played at Haifa/Tel Aviv in 1958? I'm a bit suspicious, but have no proof one way or the other.
Premium Chessgames Member <Phony> We believe it was; at the very least, the other major databases (ChessLab, ChessBase, NIC) concur with this. Note that we now more of his games from the same event now.
Nov-03-09  erimiro1: He was an Israeli chess master who immigrated to the U.S.A during the 60's

May-18-12  Llawdogg: There must be a bunch more Blumenfeld games.
