Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-04-20  Nosnibor: I recall meeting Roy Thomas at the 1969 British Chess Championship who would be then someone in his mid to late thirties. However I note that there is another Roy Thomas who was born in 1958 who appears to be a stronger player but no games of his are in the CG database. Any ideas?
Jun-04-20  Nosnibor: Apropos my previous comment I should have said that the later Roy Thomas was a considerably weaker player and believe that all of the games played after 1969 shown here are those of the player born in 1958.
Jun-04-20  Nosnibor: I have now discovered that the games played up to 1969 are those of Ronald Thomas and not Roy Thomas. He played in the Cleveland area and was born in 1939.The db therefore requires amendment.
