Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-19-10  jul059: There is 466 games from this guy available from the official chess federation of Quebec. Anyone willing to add some to chessgames?

http://www.fqechecs.qc.ca/index.php...

Apr-17-14  Lossmaster: Barbeau was the last chess columnist in La Presse, a Montreal newspaper, until 2006, when the century-old column was cancelled.

In early 1979, while he was Canada's junior champion, Barbeau played in Longueuil a simul against 35 opponents. I was one of them, and I lost, being a 13 year-old patzer. I still have the score sheet.
