Jan-18-06  lentil: this guy's a pre-incarnation of suttles!
Aug-26-12  Karpova: He was personally invited to participate in the great 1907 Carlsbad Tournament but a master whose opinion mattered much to him, dissuaded him from doing that. This friend thought that Evtifeev was an unwelcome guest among the other masters due to his bizarre opening choices. Afterwards, he did particpiated in few tournaments only.
