May-01-05  WorldChampeen: Icelandic Champ near the time of the big match.

Excuse me for saying this, I'll betcha Iceland has real good seafood.

May-02-05  Halldor: I found some additional information: Jon Kristinsson was also Icelandic Champion for correspondence chess 1986 and 1988.

He was Reykjavik Champion 1966, 1969, 1972 and 1973.

He played in the Olympics 1962, 1964, 1968, 1970, 1972 and 1974.

In Halle 1967 he was 11.-14. (+4-6=9) of 20 players.

He withdraw from tournaments from 1975 until 1982 when he participated in a local tournament in north Iceland 1982 as a guest and won.

<WorldChampeen> It's a pity that seafood is now far too expensive, - less seafood and we are loosing elopoints...!
