Jan-24-05  MidnightDuffer: Playing a very good game; this Hybl;

Adding on to what Honza says:

I quote the LogicalChess website:

"1928.03.11 Hybl, Jaroslav born. 2nd in world cr ch 1968. IMC 1965; GMC 1968."

Meaning I am sure he was largely into Correspondence Chess at the least; some good games to review!

Mar-11-08  brankat: <Chessgames.com> <Years covered 1913-1997>? is a mistake. The man was born in 1928. It looks more like <1962-2001>.

Happy 80th Birthday Mr.Hybl!

Mar-11-08  brankat: The first game listed here: <J.Dobias vs Hybl> must have taken place later, not in 1913, since Mr.Dobias, born in 1889, was active until 1980!

Mar-11-09  WhiteRook48: he played in 1913 when he was born in 1928. So in his first game he was -15 years old.
