WannaBe: <OhioChessFan> Thanks for finding this page!! Now everyone can come and be absolved!! =)

Forgive me, I've M Sinn 'ed. I traded my good bishop for a bad & naughty queen.

Dec-12-05  mahmoudkubba: <WannaBe>: Is it just his /her name like that or another thinkink?
Dec-12-05  mahmoudkubba: I can see as well that the number 37.5% is also wrong according to the method this site uses. the real result is 26.4%. Well tell me if Im wrong.
Dec-12-05  chesscrazy: <mahmoudkubba> No, it is 37.5%. chessgames.com is right. Equation:1+7/2(4.5)/12=37.5
Dec-12-05  mr. nice guy: M Sinn might be a funny name but his opponents are just as funny. Moloney? Blokhuis? Wang Shuai? I Grafl with Sinn everyday.

alexmagnus: In german "Sinn" means "sence"... not as bad and funny name as "sin" which you are all thinking of, especially for a chess player.
Dec-12-05  technical draw: <alexmaqnus> In gewissem Sinn, do you mean "sense"?

OhioChessFan: On the occasion of my 666th post, a rant. To Krammnik, of course, first and foremost. To Ilyumzhinov, and the IBM team and to both sides of the AJ controversy (they really need to let it go) and to the Bulgarians who took the live games from us, and to the dolts who insist on posting "First!", and to both sides of the AJ controversy (they really need to let it go), and to the 10 move draws in the last round of the US Championship, and to Krammnik again for good measure, and to myself for complaining about the Bulgarians and the "First" dolts so much, and to both sides of the AJ controversy (they really need to let it go), and to everyone who spends a week analyzing a live game and then reveals the "obvious" move the poor GM missed over the board, and to the people who make fun of Chessgames Puns of the Day, and to the Hydra-Nickle site that boots me 2 out of 3 times I visit it, and to the people who complain that the Monday puzzles are too easy, and to both sides of the AJ controversy (did I mention they really need to let it go?)........ may all your pawns be poisoned, may your Dragons be slain, and may you fail to see the impossibly creative comic genius to be found on this site. Cheers!

OhioChessFan: Belatedly, on the occasion of my not long ago 1666th post, a rant. To The World Vs. Nickel, and Topalov vs. Kramnik, for making me forget the idea of posting on my 1666th post like I'd planned to all year, and to the dolts who still insist on saying "First!", and to Bidmonfa for the spammed advertising posts on every player of the day's page, and to the insufferable Thorrson, who I had to take off ignore once I agreed to host analysis in the World Challenge, and to the people who STILL can't let the AJ thing go, and to Rybka, who has convinced me that the domination of computers IS inevitable, and to TPstar, Chessclassics, Wannabe, and a bunch of others I can't think of right now because they are, and I HATE to admit it, funnier than me, and to Kramnik for general principles, and to Topalov for throwing away the WC to Kramnik, and to Kasparov for retiring too early, PLEASE come back, and to Skripchenko for wearing that blue and white polka dot dress every day for the past 3 years all over the world, get a new wardrobe, lady, and to Fischer for being such a jerk and a blight on the Chess world, and to all those idiot Cincinnati Bengals who keep getting arrested, which has nothing to do with chess, but anyway, and to that strange looking geek who married Kosteniuk, what was THAT all about, and to the fact I've missed a Monday and a Tuesday puzzle in the last 3 weeks, AUGGGHHHHHH, and to me knowing I spend far too much time on this site and not caring, here's mud in your eye, spit in your face, a blunder in time trouble in your next tournament, and no sense of humor to see what is really great on this site. Cheers!

OhioChessFan: On the occasion of my 2666th post, a rant. To the World Vs. Nickel, for taking up so much of my time, and again to the dolts who STILL insist on saying "First", and again to <Bidmonfa> for the spammed advertising, and again to the people who can't let the AJ thing go, and to Kramnik, barely, for losing to Deep Fritz, and to Topalov, for destroying every shred of respect I had for him, and to Danailov for what he's turned Topa into, and to me for feeling compelled to rant on Kramnik after I'd gained so much respect for him in the WC, and to all the kibitzers I won't name who believe in the most asinine conspiracy theories, and to one more Cincinnati Bengal who just got arrested, and to that punk troll on the GMAN page who I won't give the pleasure of naming, may you post a blunder on the GMAN page, may you crash your computer opening too many games on the site at the same time, may you have a negative balance in the Chessbookie game, and may you have nightmares about the dreaded Qd3 Lemming Voters. Cheers!
Dec-07-06  BishopofBlunder: Is it possible this guy was the 13th child of Mr. & Mrs. Sinn?
Dec-07-06  setebos: The only sin is not to SIN :)
Apr-20-08  whiteshark: Sure enough some time soon <OhioChessFan> will rant here again, although to expect the unexpected shows a thoroughly modern intellect. :D

OhioChessFan: On the occasion of my 6666th post, a rant. I shall not waste this occasion on something so insignificant as petty concerns about chess, but on things I truly abhor. To all the haters in the world, who hate because of race or gender or nationality or religion or politics, may you learn to love yourself first of all, for hate tends to come from those who hate themselves. May you then learn how GOOD it feels to love others, and if not, may you learn how freeing it is to at least stop hating and go on with your life. To all the people who are so utterly lacking in integrity, who have an agenda for everything they do, who care not a whit about loyalty or doing the right thing for the sake of doing the right thing or doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, may you realize that one day you will face death, and you will care much more then about how you lived your life than what material possessions you gained. To all those who are able but refuse to work, to earn an honest living and provide for themselves and their families, may you recognize that it is the obligation of all people to take care of themselves and their family so much as is possible. And may you also realize how self diminishing it is to accept others taking care of you when you are capable of taking care of yourself. To those who abuse their authority, whether it be a boss or a judge or a policeman or a politician, may you consider where all authority comes from and consider whether you are doing a good job of standing in His place. To those who are hypocrites, or hurt others, or are thieves, or abuse alcohol or drugs, or are profane or vulgar, or don't care about the example they set forth, may you consider your place in the world as an adult, and as a part of God's creation. To myself, a gentle reminder I am not yet perfect and to keep my own sense of superiority in check. To all, may you realize life is a search for truth, wherever that leads you.
