Oct-16-07  Karpova: He lost to Juan Calvo-Sotelo Campos in the first round of the 4th International Open Calvia 2007 and this was the only upset so far (all the favorites won their first round encounter).

Juan Calvo-Sotelo Campos is from Spain and was born in 1948 - his current rating is 1971

May-23-08  Gameoverziggy: He just played in the Calgarly International May 15, 16, 17 and 18th. Though he did poorly. Drawing with a 2100 and losing to a 2200. He ended up with 4.5 out of 7.
