Dec-23-09  I play the Fred: Oooh, deep. Wow, Aurobindo really opened my eyes with that piffle.
Jan-11-10  Raisin Death Ray: His parents were Felix the Cat and Ben Gay.
Jan-14-10  JaneEyre: <There is no difference there between a cat or a man.>

I think this should give us all paws for thought.

<BOSTON -- Duty calls for an East Boston resident.

Someone is getting called for jury duty...but it's no human.

A family is trying to figure out how their pet cat was summonsed for jury duty.

I said, Sal, whats this? You know, I dont believe it I was shocked, said Guy Esposito, Sals owner.

Sals owners, Guy and Anna Esposito, think they may know the source of the mix up: Sal really is a member of the family, so on the last Census form, Anna Esposito listed him under pets.

I just wrote Sal Esposito, scratched out the dog, and wrote, cat, said Anna.

Anna filed for Sals disqualification of service. However, the jury commissioner was unmoved and denied the request.>

Apr-09-10  BobCrisp: <Royal Mail has stopped deliveries to a house in Leeds after postal workers came under attack from an elderly cat.

Tiger is said to have scratched postal workers and chased them down the garden path at his home in High Bank Street, Farsley, over the past few weeks.

Owner Tracy Brayshaw, who must now pick up mail from the nearest sorting office, said the ban was "a bit silly".

She added: "We're talking about a 19-year-old geriatric cat here who likes lazing out in the sun."

Mrs Brayshaw, 43, a pharmacy dispenser, said the black-and-white cat slept for 20 hours a day but was always ready to pounce on unsuspecting staff.>

perfidious: 'JR, I thought you loved to play cat and mouse'.

'Only when I'm De Cat.'

May-04-14  waustad: Since he's from Belgium, his name placard could even look like Bel De Cat. It isn't likely that any newer games will be posted due to his rating.
May-04-14  GumboGambit: If you check out his opening here, you will see that De Cat must have nine lives:

D Alaslar vs B De Cat, 2001

Aug-29-14  catlover: Can't believe it took me this long to find this. From the results of the games here, it looks like Ben could use a few fans.

So he's Belgian. Then his last name is French? I wonder if "Cat" in French has some other meaning other than feline.

Stonehenge: Catte or cat is old Dutch for kat = cat in English.
Aug-30-14  ljfyffe: <til he finds his mouse> Not bad, not bad at all. <I taught my cat how to play poker, but every time he got a good hand, the damn thing would start to purr!>
Sep-02-14  ljfyffe: <There is no difference between a cat or a man.>

Not true -- <a man is not scared by the sound of a vacuum cleaner!>

HeMateMe: I have a cat, named Boo Boo. He'll knock over or drag anything that can be moved. If it can't be moved, he'll eat it.

This cat should be cloned and used as a weapon, like those creatures from the "Alien" movies.

Breunor: I wonder if he played the computer Dark Horse:

Dark Horse (Computer)

May-28-19  TheaN: All puns aside, eludes me why someone Dutch or Flemish native would name their son Ben with such a last name: could be that they're Walloon but then it's still unfortunate.

For those that don't get this, 'ben' essentially translate into 'am', so a literal translation of this man's name is <am the cat>. Well.
