Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-22-18  wrap99: This is the cousin of Paul Orfalea who started Kinko's. Mark opened Freebirds, a burrito chain in Santa Barbara. He moved from 1400 to expert in maybe two years.
Apr-23-18  Granny O Doul: Interesting. He finished fourth of eight in the 1981 US Junior closed. Five of the players that year (including the winner, Jay Whitehead) were from California, two from New York, and one, Brown, I don't know from Adam.
Apr-23-18  wrap99: Was it Alan Brown?
Mar-10-22  JohnBoy: Mark was a truly nice kid. And had to bear enormous tragedy after his mentally ill sister killer both his parents when he was still a teen.
Mar-30-22  wrap99: I had never heard this story, JohnBoy -- I met his dad and mom once in 1977 when Mark was about 14.
