Penguincw: Congrats to Onischuk for winning the 2015 Cappelle la Grand Open (tied with Li Chao) with the score 7.5/9 (+7,-1,=1). He lost the H2H meeting with Li Chao, and also lost out on tiebreaks.

Rating changes weren't given, but I estimate that he went from 2629 to 2651.2.

  Penguincw: (assuming it's over)

Congrats to Vladimir Onischuk for his performance at the Metz Open. He scored 7/8 (+7,-1,=0) against 2475 opposition. His only loss was a white loss to Stopa (2537). Every other game was a win (including a black win against Wagner, 2544 and white win against Svetushkin, 2601).

Overall, he gained 13.4 points (2651 -> 2664.4) to rise from 108th place to 76th on the live ratings.

Penguincw: P.S. I found a website for the Metz Open: http://www.metzalekhine57.fr/saison....

He actually wins with 8/9 as he beats Romanov (2609) with black. That means he has gained 17.8 rating points (2651 -> 2668.8) and moves from 108th to 72nd.

I also see Vladimir has passed Alexander for the best Onischuk in the world. ;)

Penguincw: Disappointing tournament for Vladimir Onischuk at the Zalakaros Open, as he loses 3 times to finish with 5.5/9 (+5,-3,=1) and a lost of 17.7 rating points, not only allowing the other Onischuk to take over, but also, he is no longer in the top 100 ratings.

Penguincw: (hehe, 5 in a row)

Anyway, another rough tournament for Onischuk, though not as worse as the above. At the Iasi Open, he entered with a rating of 2669, but his June rating would be 2646. He started out well with 3.5/4, which I believe is +3.1, which is now at 2649.1. He then had black against Deep Sengupt (2571) and a win would be enough for him to return to the top 100. Unfortunately, he lost that game, and the next, but did bounce back with 3 straight wins, but still lost 4.2 points overall.

  Penguincw: (hello, anyone else here?)

Even though this was a week and a half ago, congrats to Onischuk for going 11/11 at the Ukrainian Championship, Blitz.
