Erkki Elias Tapani Havansi is a Finnish jurist. He was Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Helsinki from 1982 to 2009. The very same year he went into politics candidating for 'Perussuomalaiset' (PS) several times. He was described a vital voice within this right-wing populist political party.

Havansi has played chess at the national team level. His best achievement was a silver medal in the 1970 Finnish Championships where Heikki Westerinen won first place. In 1978 Havansi won the Finnish correspondence chess championship.
