WCHESS (COMPUTER)
United States of America

[what is this?]

Her American programmer is David Kittinger who designed for release by Sierra software group (1996 as Power Chess; later released in 2003 as the engine in Hoyle Majestic Chess). In 1994, she made her peak performance of 4 wins & 2 draws in 6 games at the 3rd Harvard Cup rapid event, computer teams of 6 meeting a human Grandmaster team of 8 (no source is given about how the pairings were assigned, such as possibly being similar to Olympiad pairings (where a captain chooses who sits in & out - rather than the arbiter) - but they do not appear to be a tandem or team consultation event of groups of players).
