Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-03-13  thomastonk: Petrus Franciscus van Hoorn died suddenly in September 1937 in Amsterdam, probably at one of the days before the 19th. He was buried on September 22, 1937 at the well-known cemetery Zorgvlied. Maybe this helps to find the exact date of death.

Four months before his death he won at the Noteboom tournament in Leiden a game against the world champion Euwe, which I attach below. He also won this 4-player event with 2 points from 3 games (Euwe had the same result).
