Olga Mikhailovna Ignatieva was born in the USSR in 1920. Awarded the WIM title in 1952 she was one of the leading Soviet Women players in the 1950's and shared 2nd place in the Women's Candidates tournament. In 1978 she got the WGM title. For some years she was married to David Bronstein.
