Apr-22-22  Jan Kersten: George Davidescu did not die in 1936, because he played in the Romanian championship of 1947.

Stonehenge: 1936 must have been taken from https://www.stere.ro/davidescu-geor.... Their source is https://www.stere.ro/wp-content/upl... but I don't think it says he died in 1936.

Died 1959: https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gheor...

Stonehenge: <Gh Davidescu died on January 3, 1973 marked by a rather modest financial situation. On 14 October 1974, Petra Davidescu, his wife, addressed the following to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: “I respectfully request that based on the activity submitted to the Ministry of Affairs Foreign of my husband, Davidescu Gheorghe, who died in 1973, to make the proposal for my husband's successor, my successor, to settle down a fair pension, as they currently receive a monthly pension of 495 lei”>

Google Translate may be a bit off, but it's clear enough.
