(Wieder endeten alle vier Stichkampfpartien Remis. Ein Termin für einen weiteren Stichkampf wurde nicht gefunden, weshalb Dr. Paul Tröger vorschlug, beide Spieler zu Deutschlandmeistern zu küren. [DSB 4/1970, S.97])
