Dec-30-11  Nemesistic: Thats really good news, well done doc..

Take care, happy new year and come back and ignore the wimp??

Dec-30-11  JoergWalter: congrats, DrMal. continue in 2012.
Happy new year.
Dec-30-11  TheFocus: Congrats <DRMAL>.

It would be nice if you would return.

Dec-30-11  AlphaMale: ...to Russia.
Dec-30-11  Shams: I would certainly call +1-1=5 a "success" if it were me playing but as an FM <DrMAL> is not likely to have been playing up, on the whole, so his .500 result is nothing special. I say this not having seen the games, of course. Perhaps they are splendid.

It's a shame, he just couldn't keep off the drug. The <AJ> drug, that is.

Dec-30-11  King Death: Nice solid result in Vegas. Too bad you didn't take Sokolov down.

Who knows what <Alpha Male> has against you, but we don't care.

Jan-03-12  TheFocus: North American Open

Jun-11-12  cro777: Chicago Open 2012

Nice solid result of <DrMAL>

+3 -2 =4

He drew against GM Eugene Perelshteyn (2526) and GM Joshua Friedel (2499).

It would be nice if you would return <DrMAL>.

Dec-27-12  cro777: <DrMAL> is taking part at the 22nd Annual North American Open in Las Vegas (December 26-30, 2012).

Happy Chess Holidays, Sasha!

Dec-27-12  TheFocus: Yes. Happy Holidays Sasha! And good luck in the American Open.

If you return, I will buy you a Premium Membership.

Aug-27-13  MarkFinan: I wander how Sasha's getting on with his chess, I always thought he was alright. Another FM who was always willing to help driven away by you know who. If you read this.. Come back Doc :)

perfidious: <DrMAL> and I had our differences for a long while, but on returning to these pages, I saw some good and decent content from him. It is most regrettable that he seems to have left and not come back.

Best of luck to him.

Aug-27-13  TheFocus: It was a sad day when Sasha left and we were still left with <AJ>.
Nov-17-13  MarkFinan: <<TheFocus: It was a sad day when Sasha left and we were still left with <AJ>.>>

Here I agree with TheFocus! After a rocky start he really started getting along with everyone, and he always had time for me and my patzer chess knowledge.

;)

Nov-17-13  Everyone: Precisely!
Nov-17-13  MarkFinan: <everyone> Do you also agree with this statement from TheFocus?

<<TheFocus: We lose a valuable REAL Master like Sasha, and have to keep the <Life Jerk>. I thought my Premium Membership promised me more than that.>>

Nov-17-13  Everyone: I felt special until i saw you talk to <Everyone> like that... :/
Nov-17-13  MarkFinan: Everyone. You are special. 🐲
Jan-02-15  Conrad93: Why do people pick on AJ? Besides posting what seems like decent analysis, I don't see where all the hate is coming from.

The guy is nothing but a gentleman when he posts.

perfidious: Many inflammatory posts made by the <Pernicious Pensacolan> have long since gone, thereby creating such an illusion.
Jan-04-15  Conrad93: I have never seen AJ post anything inflammatory.

His site is a mess, but at least he takes time to annotate the games with his own original commentary for the benefit of countless users.

If that isn't altruism. I don't know what is.

LMAO!

Jul-25-15  Benzol: <Conrad93> <I have never seen AJ post anything inflammatory.>

<Conrad> In some ways <AJ> was his own worst enemy. You might want to take a look at the some of the posts here A J Goldsby

I am not a fan of games being closed to kibitzing but something had to be done about the situation that had arisen and the admins took what they considered the best option open to them.

Sep-07-15  technical win: You know the difference between a tornado and divorce in the south? Nothing! Someone is losing a trailer.
