Sir, this is Get your common sense and good manners out of here.

And welcome, AJ.

Dionysius1: Point taken <keypusher>:-). Kibitzers we are, and proud of it (shoulder, shoulder)!

LIFE Master AJ: PLEASE ... be civil. I would greatly appreciate it if we kept comments to the topic of chess.

I only told you guys about my homeless situation to explain why/how I managed to lose my score-sheets!

I am in a better place now, not homeless. Thank you to everyone who expressed their concern.

After I was homeless, there were a lot of people who said they would have helped me out if they had only known. When I could find it and had access to a phone, I called everyone that I could think of. (No one that I reached out to even tried to help. This included a large church that I was a member of for MANY years!)

My faith in God has not been shaken. However, my belief in churches was. A sad fact, but true nonetheless.

LIFE Master AJ: @ Fred (the bear)

Your comments might have good intentions ...
Some may have found them insulting, including myself.

The LAST thing I want right now is to be preached at. Therefore ... your comment was deleted!

Premium Chessgames Member
LIFE Master AJ: I once had a preacher tell me that ALL homeless people were basically insane, criminals and/or drug addicts.

Another one told me that homeless people WANTED to be homeless, they preferred that type of lifestyle. And that if you placed them in a nice place, they would (eventually) wreck it and go back out on the street. (Utter garbage! I certainly was none of these things and I certainly did NOT want to be homeless.)

MissScarlett: Friendly warning - <fredthebear> does not take kindly to his posts being deleted.

Joshka: Hey Al welcome back! As a book reviewer, have you ever reviewed "My 61 Memorable Games"? by Bobby Fischer 2007
Premium Chessgames Member
LIFE Master AJ: 61? That would be an illegal, unauthorized version of Fischer's book.

I would not give it the time of day.

Premium Chessgames Member
LIFE Master AJ: Please do NOT post garbage here.

This is MY page. I will not have the trolls take it over! (Like they have done with so many other pages!!!!!)

Anything that I don't want here ... or anything that I do not approve of ... will simply be deleted. (QED - no discussion is necessary or allowed!)

HeMateMe: AJ, do you think the lawsuit by Hans Neimann against Magnus Carlsen has merit? Please give me your plusses and minuses, if you would.

HeMateMe: AJ, have you played in any on line tournaments of late?
Premium Chessgames Member
LIFE Master AJ: (HE) I won a tournament about 2 years ago.

My oldest daughter moved out about a year ago.
Since I care for my autistic daughter, and she cannot be left alone, I can't tell you when I will get to another real tournament.

Other than to say that Niemann is a self- confessed cheater, I don't wish to discuss it further. (We don't want him to include this website in his lawsuit.)

No less a player than GM Alexei Shirov feels that Niemann's result in his last tournament (for his final GM norm) was highly suspicious. I feel that, when they are examined under a microscope, we are going to discover that he cheated there as well.
