fredthebear: I had no luck determining if Christian Richter was related to Kurt Richter.

Kurt Richter ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_... ) passed away in 1969, which is nine years before Christian was born. So that eliminates a father-son relationship.

Over the centuries, there has been more than one well-known "Christian Richter" from Germany.
