BillyDjango: Very neat mating combo. However I believe that 29 ... Bf1 draws as white has nothing better than moving his rook between h3 and h5. Also white could have won easily after 20 Rg3 as black has no way to defend with his pieces on the wrong side of the board.

BillyDjango: After I won a tournament in the 3rd grade or something, this guy gave me the trophy as well as an autographed copy of his book on the fifth K v. K world championship. It's kind of cool that cg.com had him as a local from Seattle even though we just lost the super bowl... :(

BillyDjango: Maybe... after 11. h4 Ne7 or 11...hxg 12. Bg5 Ne7 Than 13. Qh5 g6 14. Qh6 Ng7 15. Rxh4 followed by mate. or 14... Nf5 15. Qxg6+ N8g7 16. Bf6 followed by mate. I'm not sure if all the variations are fool proof because I am just doing it in my head but it looks all right.
